On motion it was resolved to go into an election of officers.

Revd Father E. Berry was nominated for President and elected.

Jas F. McBrearty and John Early were first in nomination for Vice President when on ballot Jas F. McBrearty was declared elected.

F. W. Bowles & William Galvin were nominated for Secretary. On ballot F. W. Bowles was declared elected.

Matthew Lynch and John Early were nominated for Treasurer. On ballot – John Early was declared elected.

Thomas Ever & Bernard Early were nominated for Sergeant at arms. On ballot Thos Evers was declared elected.

Patrick McBrearty and J. P. Glasmier were nominated for Librarian. On ballot Patrick McBrearty was declared elected.

On motion the meeting adjourned until Sunday Jan. 11th, 1866.

Pursuant to adjournment a meeting of the society was held at the residence of Revd Father E. Berry on Sunday Jan 1st, 1866. When on election Daniel Coffee and John Barrett were admitted as members of this society.

On motion it was resolved that at the next special meeting of the society. The following resolution be discussed.

Resolved that the Pioneer has conferred greater benefits on mankind than the statesman.
