A resolution was offered admitting his Grace Peter Richard Kenrick Archbishop of St. Louis to membership.

Carried.

It was moved & seconded that the Secretary be instructed to write to his Grace the Archbishop of St. Louis informing him of his unanimous election to honorary membership in this society.

Carried.

On Motion the meeting adjourned

Pursuant to adjournment a special meeting of St. Patrick’s Benevolent society was held on Saturday Feby 10th 1866. The president in the chair, The meeting being called to order the minutes of the preceding meeting were read and on motion adopted.

On Motion Mr. Robert Walker was admitted to membership in this society.

The question previously selected was then discussed Resolved that the external productions of the earth are of more value benefit to mankind than its internal productions.
