November 4th, 1866 The meeting came to order Mr. President in the chair after roll call the minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Moved and seconded that a committee of two be appointed to wait upon the delinquent members and know their intentions in regard to their membership. Carried. The chair appointed Henry Golden and P. Galvin as said committee, the same to report the next meeting. According to a resolution passed Apr. 14th/66 the same being to the effect that the debating be adjourned until the first of Nov./66 and the date having arrived it became necessary to choose a subject for discussion. The Chair appointed Jas. F. McBrearty, John P. Hesan & William Galvin to choose the same and report at the next meeting. Moved and seconded that a special meeting of the society be called to meet on the eleventh inst. carried, after which upon motion the meeting adjourned. John P. Glasmier Secty.
December 2 1866 The Society met at the residence of the Rev. Father Berry, Mr. Vice President in the chair. Roll called and dues collected, there being a quorum present the society went into business. On motion it was resolved that all members of the society, who having been delinquent for the term of five months should be dishonorably discharged from the society, and their names be stricken from the roll of membership, carried. The following gentlemen is therefore expelled from the society as members thereof. William VanHuesten, Micheal Glenn, Joseph E. Bowles, James Glenn, John T. McBriarty, Charles Noonan, William Flanigan. On motion the society went into the election of officers for the ensuing six months. Nominations being in order for president, Rev. Father Berry, and James F. McBriarty was nominated, after some electioneering the ballot was taken and Mr. Jas. F. McBriarty was elected. Nominations for Vice President then being in order Messrs
